PFF
Videocafe
The Video Cafe has been in existence since the
first Portobello Film Festival, five years ago. Originally
any film, which resisted obvious categorisation, was
put into the Video Cafe unprogrammed by date or time,
and filmmakers could phone up in advance for a slot.
Filmmakers could also come along on the day and ask
for their film to be shown. Members of the public who
were interested in the synopsis, title, or director
could also request a screening. People who had missed
the deadline could also bring their films.
