Carrie Reichardt: Activist Potter

Famed for her mosaic house in Chiswick Carrie’s expertise and contribution to art and craft have been widely recognized; in 2013, she was awarded the prestigious Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship to research the advancement of community mosaics in the UK. Her professional journey includes significant residencies, notably at Camberwell Art College (2009) and The Clay Studio in Philadelphia (2014).
For the Portobello Festival she is working with her Treatment Rooms Collective imcluding ATM, Wonnish, Teddy Baden, Karen Francesca and Nick Reynolds- plus honoured to have contribution from Joe Rush and photos by Tif Hunter - to deliver state of the art ceramics and remember the One Foot In The Grove expo from 2009.
