 The elderly Madhoor lives with his family in Shadegan, a city where many date palms have perished due to years of drought. Despite these conditions, Madhoor is in a constant battle and supplies water for his palm trees every day with his tricycle. Being passionate about acting, his love for this acting test with his daily life. While caring for the palms, he listens to the film's soundtrack. He participates in auditions for cinema projects and in different situations, he feels a sense of kinship with scenes from various films. Watching movies and practicing acting are part of his daily routine, hoping to one day see his own image on the cinema screen.

His father was the politician Rodrigo Lara Bonilla who exposed Pablo Escobar’s dirty money in politics and was assassinated by him. Jorge finds a hidden book with his father’s notes on Politicians who were connected to Escobar before he died, many still living free in Colombia. Jorge sets out to bring those politicians to justice but in a bizarre twist of fate, he meets Escobars son and becomes best friends.
