Since the release of "L'ombre au mois d'août" (The Shadow in August), a film of great success in which Valentine plays the lead role, she hasn't been working. It's during this period of low spirits that she has to audition for a big French film, in a duet with a dog, even though she doesn't really like dogs. Driven by her depression and existential angst as an actress, she sets off on an absurd canine quest around Brussels.

SOUVENIR
JASPER VRANCKEN & BERT AELES. FICTION / FANTASTIC. 21 mins BELGIUM. 15.
EVERT returns from boarding school to find his childhood home in a state of neglect. His father MARK is sick in bed. Evert goes to his room and plays an online video game with his friend ANDRIES where they kill vampires together. Andries asks him how things have been since his mother died, but Evert avoids answering. At breakfast, Evert notices a strange wound on his father's neck. As Mark sleeps, a menacing shadow is seen hovering over him. The next day, Mark finds something strange beside his bed: a small dead caterpillar.
In his father's bedroom, Evert comes across a strange wooden statue of a pregnant woman in pain. It's a souvenir that Mark bought for Evert on a trip to Romania. Evert puts the statue in his bedroom. Slime sticks to the back of the statue and, at night, it seems to rustle. At the back of the statue there is a crack from which a caterpillar is escaping.
The next day, Evert isn't feeling very well, but the party he had planned with his friends goes ahead. Mark discovers some kind of big bat hiding in his room. Mark beats the beast to death against the wall. The next day, Mark is feeling better, while Evert lies exhausted in bed. On top of him, a similar bat is sucking his blood. More caterpillars emerge from the wooden sculpture, and once they have hatched, they will continue to drain Evert of his blood.

LOUVES (SHE-WOLVES)

One full moon evening, Joy decides to follow her older sister, Léane. For some time now, Léane has been running away at night to join a gang of women who spread terror in the streets and among men. They call themselves the “She-Wolves".

For a residency organized by the University of Caen, the writer Miranda Ackerman returns to the city where she lived ten years before. She is astonished to discover that the University is hosting her in the former house where she lived with Richard, his youthful partner. Richard now teaches at the university. As they reestablish contact, presence in the house starts to disturb her.
