Alone/Together is a uniquely participatory documentary featuring artists, travelers, teachers, children, parents, and essential workers around the world, struggling and persevering through a deadly pandemic. Told through the eyes and perspective of a chorus of voices, the short documentary connects global citizens in eleven different countries as they begin responding to the COVID-19 outbreak. Our participants are from the US, the UK, Italy, Russia, Taiwan, Japan, China, Malaysia, Germany, Ireland, and the Netherlands.

This is the personal story of the friendship of three women and the struggle to live their everyday life while studying in Scotland as a full-scale war takes place in their home country in Ukraine, where their families and close friends are. The film focuses on the search for beauty and necessary words whilst also exploring inner conflicts and the disintegration of memories.

One of those people that heroin turned invisible and who fights day by day against the pain to continue doing the only thing that makes him happy: going to Laurel Street to pick up the dishes and take out the garbage from all the bars in exchange for the will and to be able to socialize with the people.
