Multvitamin - A day of World Animation and workshop -
Eastern Europe focus
12 – 5pm

A day of Eastern European animations spanning decades, will comprise of curated films that transgress the barrier of language. Fun for kids and adults alike, animation from Russia, Czech Republic, Georgia and others, will introduce kids to another culture. During Soviet era the animations produced were often on the themes of friendship, and nature, rich in colours and songs. The day will feature different themed films for different ages, and most will have none or little words. 

The screenings will run alongside kids animation related workshops, - learn how to make stop motion and flip book animations.

Then he gathers the wood, getting ready to travel back. Though the last tree breaks the back of this now middle-aged man, his desire, to bring everything back home, persists. Having become an old man, he realizes that he is not strong enough to return with any trunk at all. Unburdened from his responsibilities, he stumbles across the tree he already knows from his youth.
