Lepke aka Leroy Anderson was born in Jamaica and grew
up in the Notting Hill area.
He started Europe’s first black owned radio station
Dread Broadcasting Corporation/Rebel Radio in 1981.
The station played a variety of African derived music
including Reggae, Soul and Funk; early Hip Hop played
by Neneh cherry, Soca, African, Rhythm n’ Blues
and Jazz. In 2003 Lepke, The Ranking Miss P and original
DBC member Mike da Bike compiled a CD celebrating a
25yr history, which was released on Trojan records.

Road Music Scene over the last 3 decades. From its Squat
Rock to Punk Rock to Reggae and Folk. Expect special
guest stars and the Unexpected.
