Video Retrospective at the Portobello Film Festival

This year Wall of Sound celebrate their tenth birthday, and as part of a series of ongoing birthday events, the label presents a ten year video retrospective featuring videos from artists such as Röyksopp, Propellerheads, Blak Twang, The Bees, Zoot Woman, Mekon, The Wiseguys, I Am Kloot and Medicine by leading directors including Pedro Romhanyi, Mike Mills, Evan Bernard, Dawn Shadforth and Hammer & Tongs. A short cut of Wall of Sound’s specially commissioned ten year documentary (Director Pat Tichy) will also be screened alongside a presentation / Q & A by with leading director Pedro Romhanyi, American director Evan Bernard, Wall of Sound video commissioner John Moule and label director Mark Jones, plus other guests to be announced. The evening will also include music from label DJs and an exhibition of Wall of Sound’s artwork from the last ten years.
