Lepke aka Leroy Anderson was born in Jamaica and grew up in the Notting Hill area.
He started Europe’s first black owned radio station Dread Broadcasting Corporation/Rebel Radio in 1981. The station played a variety of African derived music including Reggae, Soul and Funk; early Hip Hop played by Neneh cherry, Soca, African, Rhythm n’ Blues and Jazz. In 2003 Lepke, The Ranking Miss P and original DBC member Mike da Bike compiled a CD celebrating a 25yr history, which was released on Trojan records.

JC Carroll
Punk Rocker, Multi instrumentalist and Film Music Composer. JC uses his music to tell the Story of the Portobello Road Music Scene over the last 3 decades. From its Squat Rock to Punk Rock to Reggae and Folk. Expect special guest stars and the Unexpected.
